Worship is a peer-reviewed, international ecumenical journal for the study of liturgy and liturgical renewal. Founded in 1926 by Virgil Michel, OSB, and the monks of Saint John's Abbey, Worship is published four times a year in Collegeville, Minnesota.
July 2025 Update to Subscribers:
After 100 years, and with a sense of both fulfillment and regret, the monks of Saint John's Abbey and Liturgical Press made the difficult decision to cease publishing the journal Worship. The last issue will be the 100th Anniversary issue of October 2026.
Since 2026 also celebrates a centenary of Liturgical Press itself, we have been planning a very special set of four issues that commemorate and address anew the main trends and impact of the liturgical movement, the post-Vatican II era, and a “whither the liturgical movement 100 years later.”
Thank you for your dedication and support of Worship.
Sincerely,
Hans Christoffersen
